  Hanna is able to offer tuning of most EMS software. If you have an EMS system he is unfamiliar with he will research and learn the software prior to tuning. Many customers have come to him with new EMS software which neither they nor local shops understood how to use. If he is not capable of using the software, he will tell you so and explain why. A full tune means both part throttle drivability, fuel economy and WOT reliable power. Hanna strongly believes that part throttle tuning is JUST as important as WOT tuning. He doesn’t settle for unnecessary hiccups, hesitations, or poor gas mileage because this is what tuning is supposed to eliminate while also allowing the car to open up and make its full power potential with great reliability.

Hanna is able to travel to your location if it is desired. All travel fees including room and board must be covered.

Travel Pricing:
Driving up to 500 miles: $2.00/mile (must double mileage for round trip)
Flying: $1000 plus airfare. If more than 5 cars are tuned, the $1000 is dropped.

Street Tuning
Factory ECU tuning includes the price of the tuning software used.
Aftermarket EMS tuning does not cover the price of the aftermarket EMS.

Factory ECU N/A: $350
Aftermarket EMS N/A: $400
Factory ECU Turbo/FI: $450
Aftermarket EMS Turbo/FI: $550
Retune: $150

Done on the street with customer or preferred driver operating the vehicle
Best1Tuning is NOT responsible for traffic violations during a street tuning session
Best1Tuning is NOT responsible for time lost due to customers malfunctioning equipment. (Hanna is pretty fair and helpful when it comes to problems but also doesn’t like to waste time)
If customer is NOT satisfied, all settings are returned to previous and customer pays a $100 minimum. Hanna has NEVER had this issue, however there is no negotiation. You will pay the full charge for the tune or $100 for the attempt unless previously specified differently.

Dyno Tuning:
Add $100 to the street tuning price.
Hanna offers the service of Dyno Tuning to the local area. You can contact him to find out if the shop you plan to use is considered "local". If you would like me to travel farther than the local area, all travel costs must be covered.

Hanna is not responsible for engine failure during tuning. There are too many possibilities beyond fueling and ignition timing that can be responsible for engine failure and you must consider this when building a performance vehicle, however Hanna will work to gain your trust to make you comfortable choosing him as your tuner.

Street Tuning is done before a Dyno Tuning session as this will eliminate all drivability issues and get the car ready for WOT tuning as well as save money.

A Dyno tuning session is not a party. The tuner, the owner of the vehicle and shop personnel is all that is necessary. If you must have on-lookers then they will have to wait until after the session to ask questions or make suggestions.

Hanna prefers to work with people on a personal basis with tuning as well. If you have a small problem or concern he is available for advice and assistance. Don’t hesitate to contact him with any questions. He may be able to organize price breaks for group tuning sessions and/or yourself if you let BEST1 handle the entire tuning portion of your project.
